"WheelCheck" is a simple, precise tool for the safe reconditioning of aluminum rims. The regulation allows the treatment of curb damage of up to 1 mm, provided that the rim flange still has a remaining wall thickness of at least 10 mm after reconditioning. With two stops at a distance of exactly 11 mm, it is possible to determine in no time at all whether a rim can withstand the maximum processing of 1 mm. If you slide the measuring gauge over the rim flange, you can immediately see whether everything is in the green zone. If the measuring gauge slips through easily, this signals that the wall thickness of the rim is too low - a clear sign that special attention is required.
