In addition, runs often form in the narrow spaces between the spokes, which means extremely time-consuming rework. This has made painting high-gloss aluminum rims extremely difficult, if not impossible.

With CARTEC's gloss and matt clear coats, which were specially developed for bare aluminium, the formation of runs is virtually impossible due to their thixotropic properties.
The paint adhesion is so good that a cross-cut test with the best value GT0 is achieved. The 2K Alu-Clearplast clear coat with its greasy shine ensures that the optical appearance of the powder clear coat is reproduced almost true to the original.

This makes painting polished rims effortless.

The WheelDoctor range currently includes 30 different acrylic rim base coats. This covers up to 90 percent of the rim brands on the market. The right colors are also available for high-gloss bi-color rims that are painted in color between the spokes and visually contrast.
